Washington: America’s reaction to the rejection of bail and the arrest warrant of former Prime Minister Imran Khan in the Tosha Khana case came to light.

According to the World News Agency, during the weekly press briefing, the spokesperson of the US Department of State, Ned Price, answered the tough questions of the journalists regarding Pakistan, Kashmir and Afghanistan.

Imran Khan, who called the end of his government an American conspiracy, was denied bail in the Tosha Khana case and a journalist questioned whether this was not political revenge.

On which the spokesperson of the American government, Ned Price, said that they support democracy, constitution and law in Pakistan, but your question is purely an internal matter of Pakistan. Therefore, this question should be asked to the people of Pakistan.

Ned Price said that the freedom of expression is a fundamental human right, the importance of which is highlighted in the world, on the question regarding the shutdown of the Internet in Occupied Kashmir by the Modi government of India.

The spokesperson of the US State Department said that access to the Internet is important for strengthening other democracies of the world, including Kashmir.

In response to a question regarding the crackdown operation against Afghan refugees in Pakistan, he said that he is in touch with the government of Pakistan on this issue.

Ned Price added that we encourage all states to fulfill their responsibilities towards Afghan refugees and oppose sending refugees back to places where they face persecution.
