Caretaker Education Minister Punjab Mansoor Qadir has said that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has refused to give its share of 25 crores.
During a conversation in Geo News program Naya Pakistan, Education Minister Punjab said that this year Pakistan Super League (PSL) arrangements were estimated at 1 billion 20 crores.
He said that the Caretaker Chief Minister has reservations about spending such a large amount of money, the Punjab government has to give relief to the people in Ramadan, which is becoming difficult.
The provincial minister further said that PSL has an expenditure of Rs 50 crore, we are ready to spend Rs 25 crore while PCB has refused to give its share of Rs 25 crore.
Mansoor Qadir also said that we had asked to pay 25 crore rupees to buy the lights so that they would be useful every year.
He said that the Punjab government is finding it difficult to provide relief to the people in Ramadan, PCB should contribute its share to provide entertainment and convenience to the people.
