Lahore: The caretaker government of Punjab flatly refused to give 25 crore rupees to PCB for Pakistan Super League 8 matches.
According to Express News, a meeting of the Punjab Cabinet was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi in which the funds requested by Pakistan Cricket Board for PSL were discussed.
The Punjab Cabinet apologized for giving Rs 25 crore for PSL and decided not to release the funds, saying that the provincial government has spent Rs 45 crore on the arrangements for PSL matches so far, an amount of Rs 25 crore has been spent by the Punjab government. CB will pay itself.

The PC has also been informed about the final decision taken in the Punjab cabinet meeting, after which the holding of PSL matches in Lahore and Pindi has been put in jeopardy.
