Karachi: A PIA flight to Toronto suffered an oil leak, and the flight made a technical landing in Karachi.
According to the sources, the flight of national airline PIA from Islamabad to Toronto was made a technical landing at Karachi Airport late at night. Fire brigade vehicles were kept alert on this occasion.
Oil leaked from the plane immediately after landing. After landing, the aircraft continued to leak oil as it came from the runway to taxiway C, after which the aircraft was parked at parking bay 24.
The engineering team of PIA is engaged in fixing the technical fault of the aircraft. The passengers were shifted to the PIA Airport Hotel last night, after which the estimated departure time of the flight has now been given at 1 PM.
