Islamabad: The Supreme Court rejected the report of the Punjab government on the Jaranwala incident. The Chief Justice has remarked that the report of the Punjab government is worth throwing in the trash.

The hearing of the case related to the rights of minorities was held in the Supreme Court of Islamabad, during which Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa inquired how many gurdwaras are there across the country? , to which lawyer Ikram Chaudhry replied that the present case is of 6 Gurdwaras, the details of which have been submitted across the country in previous hearings.

The Chief Justice remarked that why do you want to hide the facts? Why is the truth being prevented from coming to the public?, on which the lawyer of the abandoned Waqf Property Board told the court that all the facts have been given to the court. The Chief Justice said to show some respect to the court. Lawyer Ikram Chaudhry replied that the court should respect me as a lawyer.

The Chief Justice directed Ikram Chaudhry to move away from the rostrum and remarked that morals are gone. The lawyer said that it has been 35 years while practicing law. The Chief Justice remarked that we have to talk to the Chairman of the Endowment Estate Board, not you. On this occasion, the chairman of the abandoned endowment property board and other officials appeared in the court.

Chairman Mutukah Waqf Property Board told the court that there are 19 Gurdwaras active across the country. The Chief Justice said that why not put the details and pictures of all Gurudwaras on the website? The Chief Justice reprimanded the authorities and said, “Why are you taking my word for granted?” Break the chains of slavery.

The court directed to release complete details including photographs of all gurudwaras and temples on the website, remarking that it is the property of certain minorities and people. All the land is grabbed, so the facts are being hidden. First attack the court and then don’t even ask the judge a question.

During the hearing, the Punjab government submitted a progress report related to the Jaranwala incident in the court, which was rejected by the Supreme Court. The Chief Justice remarked that the report of the Punjab government was worth throwing in the trash. After seeing this report on Jaranwala incident, I feel ashamed. The Chief Justice inquired when the Jardanwala incident took place and how many people have been caught so far.

Additional Advocate General Punjab told the court that the Jardanwala incident took place on August 16, 2023, 22 cases were registered, 304 people were arrested. Out of 22 challans of 18 FIRs were collected.

The Chief Justice said that only these 18 challans were made in 6 months. . They go to other places and lash out at Islamophobia and what are they doing themselves? Want to copy the treatment of non-Muslims in India? . What time was the first church lit and when is dawn in August?

SP Investigations Faisalabad told the court that the desecration of the Holy Quran took place at 5:15 am when the Quranic papers were installed in a blasphemous manner. The Muslim community held a meeting and decided to take action against blasphemy. The Chief Justice remarked that the police saw everything burning in front of their eyes. In Jaranwala, the brave police stood and watched the spectacle.
