Karachi Police Chief Khadim Hussain Rand has announced that a case of attempted murder will be registered against those who engaged in aerial firing and rioting on the arrival of the New Year.
Khadim Hussain Rand issued a video statement regarding the aerial firing on the occasion of New Year, in which he said that New Year is celebrated all over the world, but here we have aerial firing and riots on this night. , in which people lost their lives and many were injured.
Addressing the citizens, he said that special measures have been taken by the police in the coming New Year, the citizens should celebrate the New Year but do not cause trouble to anyone, if anyone engages in aerial firing or rioting. If seen or caught, a case will be registered under section 324 of attempted murder.
He said that plainclothes police personnel will also be deployed and video recorded on the occasion of New Year.
