Karachi: At the Jinnah International Airport, the authorities seized drugs worth Rs 6 crore from the luggage of a passenger traveling from Karachi to Jeddah.
According to the customs officials, drugs worth crores of rupees were recovered from a passenger named Sikandar Zeb who was traveling to Jeddah by Serian Airline flight number ER811, which was hidden in the secret compartments of his suitcase.
Authorities searched the luggage of the passenger based on suspicion and found 1150 grams of amphetamine. According to the officials, the international value of the recovered drugs is Rs 6 crore.
Officials registered a case against the accused under the Customs and Narcotics Act and formally arrested him.
