Former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed was dropped for the second Test against Australia and wicketkeeper Muhammad Rizwan was included in the final 12 players.
According to the team management, apart from Sarfraz Ahmed, Faheem Ashraf is not included in the 12 players announced for the Melbourne Test.
For the Melbourne Test, Mir Hamza has been replaced by injured Khurram Shahzad, Hasan Ali has been included in place of Faheem Ashraf in the team.
The final 12 players include Shaheen Afridi, Amir Jamal and Sajid Khan besides Imam-ul-Haq, Abdullah Shafiq, Shan Masood, Babar Azam and Saud Shakeel.
The team management says that the final eleven players will be announced tomorrow before the match.
It should be noted that the second Test of the series between Pakistan and Australia will start tomorrow in Melbourne, Australia has a one-nil lead in the series.
