According to the spokesman of Anti-Corruption Punjab, Secretary Punjab Assembly Rai Mumtaz was arrested after it was proved that the recruitments were fake.
Rai Mumtaz along with Parvez Elahi made fake recruitments in Punjab Assembly, Parvez Elahi made 12 illegal recruitments in Punjab Assembly on grade 17.
Candidates in Punjab Assembly were recruited by altering their records.
It should be noted that anti-corruption Punjab has arrested former Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi in the case of fake recruitment in the Punjab Assembly after he was acquitted in two cases by the Gujranwala court.
