Islamabad: CDA and district administration conducted a joint operation to demolish the illegal Afghan settlement in Margalla Town.
According to Express News, the action against the Afghan citizens residing illegally in Pakistan has been accelerated, in this regard, the CDA and the district administration conducted a joint operation and demolished the illegal Afghan settlement in Margalla Town.
Illegally constructed houses, shops and sheds were demolished using heavy machinery in the demolition operation.
CDA was assisted by the Islamabad Police in the demolition operation of the Afghan settlement, while resistance was also faced by the illegal Afghan citizens who were dispersed by the police.
CDA officials say that Mohrian Mochi Mohra village in Margalla town was occupied by Afghan nationals for a long time.
