An order has been issued to all the rickshaw and taxi drivers in Delhi city, which states that they should not drive a rickshaw or taxi without wearing uniform or else they will be fined.
A driver who has more challans for not wearing uniform will have his driving license or vehicle documents cancelled.
According to the Delhi Motor Vehicle Rules, 1993, there is a law for rickshaw and taxi drivers to wear uniform while driving.
