Customs Quetta foiled an attempt to smuggle goods worth more than 30 crores by taking a major action under the anti-smuggling campaign.
According to Express News, Customs Quetta conducted operations near the Pak-Afghan border and recovered 11,000 bags of sugar worth 13 crores, 3,537 bags of urea worth 2.5 crores, 10 non-customs-paid vehicles and 2,570 smuggled tires.
Among the smuggled goods are diyar wood, foreign cigarettes, diesel, clothes and women’s smuggled sandals.
