Islamabad/New York: Former Federal Minister for Minority Affairs Akram Masih Gill expressed full solidarity with the Pakistan Army, stating that Pakistan is a peaceful country and desires peace in the region. However, if war is imposed on us, the nation will unite and give a strong response to the enemy. He made these remarks during a meeting with former Federal Minister Kamran Michael at his residence.

Akram Masih Gill said that Pakistan’s policy has always been based on peace. “We wish for South Asia to progress, for its people to prosper, and for nations to build relationships based on mutual respect and equality,” he added. He appealed to the international community and the United Nations to play an effective and practical role in reducing Pakistan-India tensions to ensure peace and stability in South Asia.
On this occasion, Kamran Michael said that the Christian community of Pakistan stands shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Army in defending the motherland. He stated that in the current situation of heightened tensions between Pakistan and India, the entire nation is united, and every patriotic Pakistani stands together against the nefarious designs of the enemy.

Kamran Michael further said that the Pakistan Army is the pride of the nation and that the Christian community of Pakistan is ready to make every sacrifice. He emphasized that the entire nation, especially the minorities, stands firmly with the armed forces in giving a strong response to Indian aggression.
At the event, Pastor Robin Yamin and Pastor Tariq Rehmat offered special prayers for the security, development, and peace of the country. Additionally, Pastor Irfan Michael and William Michael prayed for the stability of the nation, success of the Pakistan Army, and the establishment of lasting peace in the region.
