Hyderabad: A tragic incident has taken place in the Indian city of Hyderabad in which a child accidentally drank mosquito repellent and died.
According to Indian media, a 15-month-old boy died after consuming mosquito repellent in Taranagar, Chandanagar, Hyderabad on Saturday.
According to reports, the child named Zakir was playing alone at home when he drank mosquito liquid.
Parents found Zakir in a semi-conscious state in the bedroom and rushed him to a nearby hospital, but his life could not be saved and he died during treatment.
Chanda Nagar Police said that an investigation is being conducted into the incident.
