President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy organized an Iftar for Muslim soldiers in the capital Kiev.
According to international media reports, an iftar party was held at a mosque on the outskirts of central Kiev, where President Zelensky spoke.
Addressing the official Iftar party, the President said that he has introduced a new tradition of official Iftar for Muslims.
He said that Ukraine is grateful to the Muslims living in its country and to all the Muslims of the world who, like us, yearn for peace and protection from evil.
President Zelensky reiterated his determination to liberate Crimea from Russian occupation, saying that we will take back Crimea or end the occupation of Crimea.
On the occasion of Iftar, the President also gave awards to the soldiers.
