A task force has been announced to deal with child sexual grooming in the UK.
In a visit to Rochdale, Prime Minister Rishi Sonik says that children who are victims of grooming gangs have been neglected, in this regard a police task force will be formed and special officers will assist in the investigation.
He added that cross-generational data will ensure that exploiters do not escape justice.
Asked about the appropriateness of the Home Secretary’s focus on British Asian men, Rishi Sonik said it was not right that victims’ cases were ignored by social workers, politicians and the police because of cultural sensitivities and political correctness.
On the other hand, the opposition Labor Party has termed the government plan inappropriate.
