Voting for the second phase of local body elections is going on in Hub and Lasbela districts of Balochistan.
According to Express News, the polling process for the specific seats of local councils will continue from 8 am to 5 pm without any break.
District Election Commissioner Tariq Aziz Bugti says that out of 133 reserved seats for women, 36 were elected unopposed while elections are being held for 97 reserved seats.
Out of the 72 special seats of Kisan, 17 were elected unopposed while elections are being held for 55 seats. Similarly, out of 76 reserved seats for Labor, 17 were elected unopposed while polling is ongoing for 59.
Out of 26 minority seats, 9 were elected unopposed while 17 reserved seats are holding elections. Nomination forms were not submitted for 22 total minority reserved seats in Lasbela.
