India defeated the visiting team Australia by 20 runs in the 4th T20 match to take a decisive lead of 1-3 in the 5-match series.
The fourth and most important match of the 5 T20I series between India and Australia was played in Raipur.
Batting first, India scored 174 for 9 in the allotted 20 overs, with Rinku Singh 46, Pushvi Jaiswal 37, Jitish Sharma 35 and Ratu Raj Gaikwad 32.
Australia’s Bendwar Schuys took 3 wickets, Tanveer Singha and Jason Behrendorff took 2, while Aaron Hardy took 1 wicket.
In reply, Australia were restricted to 154 for 7 in the stipulated 20 overs, Head 31, captain Matthew Wade was the leading batsman with 36 runs.
Axar Patel from India bowled brilliantly and dismissed 3 Australian batsmen for 16 runs and was declared the man of the match.
