Lahore Qalandars Director of Cricket Aqib Javed has said that I was not in Shaheen Afridi’s captaincy campaign.
Talking to the host during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 9 draft ceremony, Aqib Javed said that he would have supported any franchise the way Shaheen captained.
He said that there is no bigger platform than PSL, Shaheen Afridi was the vice-captain of Lahore Qalandars for 2 years. Honesty is very important for any captain.
Aqib Javed said that Rashid Khan is a part of Qalandar’s family, if not this year then he will be next year.
Aqib Javed said that it is important to keep backup of fast bowlers.
Regarding the selection of the South African batsman, Aqib Javed said that Rasi Vander Dussen picked him after seeing the performances he gave.
