The England Cricket Board (ECB) has announced its squad for the tour of India, which has surprisingly included 20-year-old off-spinner Shoaib Bashir.
The England team will go to India to play a series of five Test matches.
It should be noted that Shoaib Bashir has played only 6 first-class matches. He made his debut in first-class matches in June this year, his inclusion in the squad is being seen as a surprise.
It should be noted that Shoaib Bashir has taken only 10 wickets in his 6 first-class matches so far.
Ben Stokes will lead the English team for the tour of India. These matches will be part of the ICC Test Championship.
