The police are investigating further into the incident.
Karachi: Two people were injured in firing at a wedding ceremony in the municipality.
According to the details, two persons were injured in the firing near Baldia No. 8 of Saeedabad area and were shifted to Civil Hospital where the injured were identified as 38-year-old Irfan son of Fazal Qadir and 53-year-old Toqeer son of Faqir Muhammad.
According to the police, the incident took place during the wedding ceremony. The groom’s father is also among the injured.
The police have taken action and arrested five people from the spot, while the accused who fired is absconding from the spot and the search is on.
The police are investigating further into the incident.
