Cipher case: Decision to indict Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi

Islamabad: The Special Court of Official Secrets Act has decided to indict former Chairman PTI and Shah Mehmood Qureshi in the cipher case.

The court fixed December 12 as the date of indictment. The court remarked that the direction of the High Court is to complete the trial in one month.

Copies of the challan have been distributed to ex-chairman PTI and Shah Mahmood Qureshi, charges will be filed on a future date. The indictment will be rewritten, the former prime minister and the former foreign minister were declared guilty in the cipher case.

Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain of the Special Court of Official Secrets Act conducted the hearing. The hearing of the cipher case continued for one and a half hours.
