Recently, Indian actress Kajol and Rashmika Mandana from South India are among the celebrities who have fallen victim to it.
However, now his latest victim is Sara Tendulkar, daughter of India’s legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar.
In this regard, Sara Tendulkar, in a post on the photos and videos sharing app Instagram, expressed concern over this technology and gave a clear message to her fans that the photos shared on X (formerly Twitter) are not hers, but deepfakes.
In her message, Sara said that social media is a beautiful place to share one’s joys, sorrows and daily routines. However, it is very sad to see the misuse of technology because such technology is taking away the true and authentic things.
Sarah also wrote that some accounts on X are sharing some fake photos of me using deepfake technology to mislead people.
Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter said, “I don’t have an account on X, but the issue of the photos has come to my knowledge, so I hope that the X management will look into the matter and suspend such accounts.”
