A fan in India accused the Cricket Association of Bengal of selling World Cup tickets in black.
According to Indian media, Bengal Cricket Association president Sanhyasish Ganguly has been summoned to the Kolkata police station.
A cricket fan has filed an application in the police station against the Bengal Association alleging that the tickets were allocated for personal purposes and blackmail.
On the other hand, former Indian cricket team captain Saru Ganguly came out in support of his elder brother.
Saru Ganguly has said that there is no involvement of the Bengal Association in the ticket dispute, the police caught those who blackmailed the tickets.
Saru Ganguly has further stated that the Bengal Association has not sold the tickets nor does it have the tickets.
According to Indian media, a match between India and South Africa is scheduled on November 5 in Eden Gardens, Kolkata, and the lowest ticket price of Rs 900 is being sold for Rs 5,000.
