Ramin Shamim has been appointed as the captain of Pakistan Women’s A team for the 3-match series against West Indies A Women’s team while the 15-member squad for the series has also been announced.
The 3-match series against West Indies Women’s A will be played in Lahore, the first 2 matches of which will be played on October 24 and 26 at the Ghani Institute for Cricket, while the last one-day match will be played on October 29 at the Gaddafi Stadium.
The National Women’s Selection Committee has selected the team after watching the performance of 28 players at the national camp in Meredke.
After the ODI series against West Indies A, a tri-T20I series will also be played in which the third team will be Thailand Emerging.
Apart from this, there will also be 2 T20 matches against Thailand Emerging.
Apart from representing Pakistan in three ODIs and four T20I matches, Ramin Shamim has also led the Pakistan Women’s A team in the tour of West Indies in 2021.
