Islamabad: The federal government challenged the NAB amendment decision in the Supreme Court, an appeal was filed under the Practice and Procedure Act.
In the petition, the Supreme Court was requested to annul the decision against the NAB amendments in the appeal and restore the NAB amendments.
The stand was taken that fundamental rights were not violated by the NAB amendments, while legislation is the power of the Parliament.
Federation, NAB and chairman PTI have been made parties in the petition.
