In Rawalpindi, dengue virus was confirmed in 56 more people during 24 hours.
According to the Health Department, the number of confirmed dengue patients this season has reached 1004.
90 dengue patients are admitted in Rawalpindi’s Holy Family Hospital, 54 in DHQ, 36 in Benazir Bhutto Hospital.
The health department has informed that the condition of 9 people infected with dengue virus is critical.
On the other hand, the district administration has informed that 40 cases have been registered for violation of dengue SOPs and 1 building has been sealed.
According to the district administration, 5 challans and a fine of Rs 1 lakh 14 thousand have been imposed for violation of dengue SOPs.
The district administration says that a total of 3,204 cases have been registered and 549 buildings have been sealed for violation of dengue SOPs so far.
