Torture of lawyers on LESCO employee who went to court to testify about electricity theft

Nankana: An employee of Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) who went to the court to testify in the electricity theft case was tortured by the lawyers.

According to the details, LESCO official and lineman Mohammad Aslam, who went to the court to testify in the case of electricity theft in Nankana, was tortured by lawyers in the court of Additional Sessions Judge Nankana.

According to LESCO spokesperson, Lineman Muhammad Aslam went to testify in court regarding electricity theft, and lawyers named Muhammad Umar Tarar, Bilal Tarar and Mansoor Ashraf tortured him and threatened to kill him.

According to the spokesman, the police officers intervened and saved the life of the LESCO official. Later, a case was registered against the accused for interfering in the affairs of the government and for torturing a government official.
