The first match of the ODI series between Pakistan and South Africa will take place tomorrow

Karachi: The ODI series between Pakistan and South Africa women’s cricket teams will start tomorrow.

The first match of the three-match day-night series will be played tomorrow Friday at the National Stadium Karachi. The toss will be at 3 pm and the matches will start at 3:30 pm.

The trophy was unveiled at National Stadium Karachi, on this occasion both the captains showed high ambitions. The three-match series is part of the ICC Women’s Championship. The second match of the series will be played on September 11 and the third on September 14.

The two teams who received the presidential protocol finalized their preparations on Thursday under tight security. Pakistan captain Nida Dar says she will try to make her 100th match a memorable one on Friday.

Laura Wilwart, the captain of the South African women’s team, said that they will try to wash away the stain of defeat in the three matches of the T20 series, and have made a strategy to deal with the Pakistani spinners.

On the other hand, 16th player Shawal Zulfiqar is likely to get Pakistan’s ODI cap. The Pakistan team, which has the 10th position in the ICC International Ranking, is at the fourth position with ten points after playing nine matches in the ICC Women’s Championship.

Earlier in the championship, Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka 1-2 and Ireland 0-3 at home ground, while in Australia they lost 0-3.

On the other hand, the visiting team, which is ranked 3rd in the IC ranking and 9th in the championship, has beaten Ireland 0-3 in the only series.

Out of 25 matches played so far between the two countries, 19 matches were won by South Africa and 4 matches by Pakistan, while one match was a tie and one was incomplete.
