Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Secretary Jay Shah has expressed good wishes to all the teams on the occasion of the opening of the Asia Cup.
In a statement issued on the social networking website X (formerly Twitter), Jay Shah has said that the Asia Cup is starting today.
Jay Shah says this tournament will be a celebration of skillful sportsmanship and memorable moments.
He said that let’s celebrate the spirit of cricket together.
It should be noted that the teams of Pakistan and Nepal have reached the Multan Cricket Stadium to play the opening match of the Asia Cup.
The first match of the Asia Cup will be held at 2:30 PM, before the match there will be an opening ceremony at the stadium.
Pakistani singer Aima Baig and Nepali singer Thrishala Gurung will perform in the ceremony, fireworks will also be displayed after the opening ceremony.
