Pakistan cricket team has once again become the number one team of International Cricket Council (ICC).
The national team has become the world number one team in ODI cricket with a 0-3 series victory over Afghanistan in Sri Lanka.
Pakistan has pushed Australia down to the top spot in the ICC ODI rankings, with the green shirts having 119 points, while Australia are second with 118 points.
India is third with 113 points, New Zealand is fourth with 104 points and England is fifth with 101 points.
Before the series against Afghanistan, Pakistan was in the second position with 116 points, the national team has reached the top position of ODI cricket for the second time.
Earlier this year in May, Pakistan won the series against New Zealand and won the first position. The national team has won 8 out of 11 ODI matches this year.
The Pakistan cricket team has to face teams like India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in the next phase of the Asia Cup starting from August 30.
