Former head coach of Pakistan cricket team Saqlain Mushtaq came out in favor of national team opener Imamul Haq after the viral clip.
It should be noted that recently a clip of Imam-ul-Haq is going viral on social media in which he explained the reasons for his parents’ absence from the stadium during his matches and said that he is not afraid of his poor performance but the stadium. It is for the spectators sitting that they should not call me a slip in front of the parents, because if that happens, I will be very sorry, that’s why I have not brought the parents to see the ground match till today.
Some clips of Imam-ul-Haq’s podcast went viral on social networking websites, and while users advised Imam-ul-Haq not to pay attention to such slogans, former head coach Saqlain Mushtaq also came forward in his favour.
Sharing the post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Saqlain Mushtaq wrote that your fourth position in ODI ranking is a great achievement. The nation is proud of you and I am sure your parents will also be very proud of you for facing all the challenges with hard work and dedication.
He further wrote that I am sure he will be very happy to see you play live.
It should be noted that Imam-ul-Haq is the nephew of the former captain and chief selector of the Pakistan cricket team, Inzamam-ul-Haq. At the beginning of his career, he was labeled a ‘slip’ by his uncle and faced severe criticism from the public.
