Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi hailed the Lahore High Court’s ongoing decision regarding the holding of elections in the province as welcome and ‘constitutional supremacy’.
Reacting to the decision of the Lahore High Court, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi said that the decision of the court is welcome, we had hoped for justice from the judiciary, the judiciary has upheld the supremacy of the constitution and increased its prestige with this decision.
He said that the Election Commission should not delay after the decision of the Lahore High Court and should announce the schedule of the immediate election.
