Pakistan’s Hamza Khan made history at the World Junior Squash, reaching the final after 15 years.
In the semi-final, Hamza defeated France’s Melol Siani Maneco three-two.
After Hamza’s early lead, the French player came back and leveled the match.
Hamza took the lead in the third and fourth games but was unable to hold on to it in the end but showed strong nerve in the deciding game.
Hamza Khan won this match 8-11, 4-11, 12-10, 11-09 and 11-13.
The match between Hamza and the French player continued for 81 minutes and during this time the referee also gave controversial decisions against Hamza.
Last time in 2008, Aamir Atlas Khan played the final of World Junior.
