Double riding and drone cameras banned in Islamabad

Islamabad: During Muharram in the federal capital, double riding of motorcycles has been banned for the next ten days, while the use of drone cameras has been banned for two months.

According to the notification issued by Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Irfan Nawaz Memon, Section 144 has been implemented keeping in mind the security concerns. The purpose of the ban on double riding of bikes is to protect public peace and tranquility in the revenue/territorial limits of Islamabad district from any threat.

Deputy Commissioner Islamabad has urged all Assistant Commissioners, Magistrates and Islamabad Police to give notification and strictly follow these instructions, while the use of drone cameras in Islamabad has also been banned under Section 144.
