Sri Lanka announced the squad for the Test series against Pakistan.
Damith Karunaratne will captain the home team. The Lincoln team includes Nishan Madushka, Kaushal Mendis, Angelo Mathews, Dinesh Chandimal, Dhananjaya De Silva, Patham Nissanka.
Samara Wickrama, Kamindu Mendis, Ramesh Mendis, Prabhath Jayasuriya, Praveen Jayawakarma, Kisan Rajitha, Madushanka, Vishwa Fernando and Lakshita Manasinghe are also in the squad.
It should be noted that the first Test match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be played from Sunday at the Galle Stadium.
The series will be the first series for both the teams in the ICC Test Championship cycle 2023-25.
