Five million dollars a day is being smuggled from Pakistan to Afghanistan, Bloomberg

London: The report of the international economic journal Bloomberg has revealed that five million dollars are going to Afghanistan every day from Pakistan.

Bloomberg’s report revealed that dollar smuggling from Pakistan is the lifeline of the Taliban government, Afghanistan’s daily requirement is one to one and a half million dollars, while the United Nations is providing $40 million weekly to Afghanistan on the basis of human rights.

The report states that dollar smugglers are also buying Afghani currency, due to which the value of the Afghani currency increased by 5.6%, from 124 Afghani rupees to one dollar in December 2021, which is about 90 rupees now.

According to the report of Bloomberg, during this period, the value of Pakistani currency has decreased by 37% and the Afghan currency has become the strongest currency in the world.
