Sri Lanka defeated Scotland by 82 runs

In the International Cricket Council (ICC) Cricket World Cup Qualifier match, Sri Lanka defeated Scotland by 82 runs after a one-sided contest.

Batting first in the group match of the World Cup Qualifier played in Bulawayo, Sri Lanka were bowled out for 245 runs in the last over.

Pathum Nissanka played a responsible innings of 75 runs and Charith Aslanka 63 runs.

On behalf of Scotland, Chris Greaves dismissed 4 players while Mark Waite got 3, Chris Soule got 2 and Alasdair Evans (Alasdair Evans) got one player to the pavilion.

The Scotland team, which is unbeaten like Sri Lanka so far in the event, could not show enough performance in pursuit of this goal.

Chasing 246 runs, the Scottish team was bowled out for 163 runs in 29 overs.

Chris Greaves remained unbeaten by scoring 56 runs from Scotland, apart from him, no other player could perform well.

Sri Lanka’s Mahesh Thiekshana, who took three wickets for 41 runs in 10 overs, was declared the man of the match.

Apart from this, Vinandu Hasaranga took 2 wickets while Kasan Rajitha, Lahiro Kumara and Dasan Shanaka took one wicket each.
