Pakistan women cricket team player Nahida Khan has announced her retirement from international cricket.

Naheeda Khan’s international career spanned 14 years, she played her first ODI in Bangladesh against Sri Lanka on February 7, 2009.

Naheeda Khan has the honor of being the only female cricketer from Balochistan to represent Pakistan in international cricket.

He represented Pakistan in 120 international matches, scoring 2014 runs and taking one wicket.

She also holds the distinction of taking the most catches in an ODI, Naheeda Khan took four catches against Sri Lanka in Dambulla in 2018, a match Pakistan won by 94 runs.

Naheeda Khan also represented Pakistan in 3 50-over World Cups in 2013, 2017 and 2022 and 4 T20 World Cups in 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2018.

Hailing from Balochistan, Naheeda Khan has taken up the field of coaching while maintaining her commitment to cricket and recently took charge as the assistant coach of the Blasters in the Pakistan Cup Women’s Cricket Tournament. He also worked as an assistant coach to Tawfiq Umar, the head coach of the Amazon team in the upcoming women’s league, in which Amazon won two to one in the exhibition matches.
