Former captain Salman Butt has said that test cricket is the basis of all formats of cricket.
Speaking to the media, Salman Butt said that if we pick a T10 player and keep him in the Test, questions arise on the selection.
He said that the player who is performing in the domestic cricket format should be given a chance there.
The former captain added that in IPL, 7 local and 4 professional players play, while in Test cricket there are only 11 professionals, so India is in trouble.
He said that test cricket is the basis of all formats of cricket, the one who has experience is successful in every format, we have to include test cricket in our priorities.
Salman Butt also said that a player who leaves the big format and goes to the smaller format abuses himself.
