The United Arab Emirates (UAE), France and India have agreed to expand cooperation in various fields.
UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonnade and Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar spoke on the telephone call.
After the telephonic conversation between the three foreign ministers, the joint statement said that the UAE, France and India will take joint initiatives in the fields of energy and climate change.
In the telephonic conversation, the ministers agreed that work will be done to protect biodiversity in the Indian Ocean.
Projects related to clean energy, environment and biodiversity will be worked on.
The three countries will work together in the areas of economic, technological and social policies under the Paris Agreement.
To implement all these plans, various tripartite events will be organized under the banner of G20 and COP28.
The foreign ministers also discussed plastic pollution and food security.
They agreed to work on opportunities to increase defense cooperation, improve capabilities, joint production and training.
On this issue, the foreign ministers of the three countries met on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly session on September 19, 2022.
