Federal Minister for National Food Security Tariq Bashir Cheema has said that there is no issue of malnutrition in the country.
According to the report of the World Food Program in the National Assembly session, Wajiha Qamar, Alia Kamran and Asia Azim presented a notice to draw attention to the expected shortage of food in the country.
On this, the Federal Minister told the National Assembly that there is no possibility of food grain shortage or food insecurity in the country.
Tariq Bashir Cheema added that the program is not being finalized even with the IMF, who are giving relief to those who do not have purchasing power.
He said that wheat and potato production has been good this year, loans have been given to small farmers under Kisan Package.
