The largest gathering in the history of France was held in Paris to pay homage to the martyrs of Pakistan and to mark the 25th anniversary of Takbeer Day on May 28.
Raja Ali Asghar, Sardar Zahoor Iqbal, Haji Nisar Ahmed, Chaudhry Afzal Linga, Chaudhry Naveed Pakhwal, Chaudhry Naeem Akhtar and Ms. Ruhi Bano participated in the gathering.
With the support and efforts of these leaders, a large number of Pakistanis and Kashmiris living in Paris participated in the event. National anthems of Pakistan and France were also presented on this occasion.
Later, the speakers paid tribute to the martyrs of Pakistan in wonderful words and also expressed their views regarding the 25th anniversary of Takbeer Day on May 28.
Kashmiri leader Chaudhry Naeem Akhtar performed the duties of the stage secretary, on this occasion he said that no one can be allowed to undermine the eternal sacrifices of the martyrs.
Pakistani nation is indebted to martyrs and their proud families, martyrs are our pride and heroes, today is a day for the entire nation to pay homage to every martyr.
Other speakers paid great tributes to all the martyrs. He said that what happened in Watan Aziz on 9 and 10 May 2023 is sad and condemnable.
Pakistan Muslim League-France Chairman Raja Ali Asghar appreciated the services of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan and Nawaz Sharif, thanks to which Pakistan became a nuclear power.
He said that the sacrifices of the martyrs are eternal and will always be a torch for our future generations. Despite the nefarious propaganda of the enemies of Pakistan, the sacrifices of the martyrs will never be forgotten.
Speakers included Sardar Zahoor Iqbal, Khan Yusuf Khan, Haji Mohammad Aslam, Haji Nisar Ahmed, Qazi Amir, Ms. Ruhi Bano, Sajid Gursi, Chaudhry Sajid Virwal, Mirza Atiqur Rahman and Umar Daraz Burhan. Qari Farooq Ahmad Farooqui prayed.
At the end of the ceremony, the 25th anniversary cake of Yom Takbeer was also cut. Later, a dinner was organized in honor of the participants.
