Tokyo: Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida fired his son as an aide for partying at the official residence.
According to the World News Agency, in a conversation with journalists, the Prime Minister of Japan said that he is removing his son Shotaro Kishida from the post of secretary. Shotaro will step down on June 1.
Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said that Shotaro Kishida had invited friends and relatives to a party at the official residence, which was objected to by many quarters.
According to Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, he also reprimanded his 32-year-old son for this.
It may be recalled that the photos of Shotaro Kishida partying at the official residence were leaked by a magazine, over which the opposition created an uproar and demanded that the Prime Minister fire his son.
It should be remembered that Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has removed four of his ministers in just three months for financial irregularities or links to the controversial Unification Church, and this is the fifth dismissal.
