Indian Cricket Board BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has said that the ODI World Cup schedule will be released on the occasion of the World Test Championship final.
In a statement, Jay Shah said that the World Cup venues will be announced in the sideline meeting of the Test Championship final.
He said that a special general council meeting of BCCI was held today regarding the World Cup, in which it was decided that BCCI will form a special committee for the World Cup next week.
The final of the World Test Championship will be played between India and Australia from June 7 to 11.
The Indian representative says that the schedule of the Asia Cup will be announced in the meeting of the Asian Cricket Council next week.
According to Indian media, the representative of the Indian Cricket Board while speaking after the General Council meeting said that the future of the Asia Cup will be decided after the meeting of the Asian Cricket Council.
Indian media say that on the occasion of the IPL final, there will be an informal meeting with the representatives of Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Bangladesh cricket, in which the action plan for the Asia Cup will be discussed.
