Lahore: Important progress has been made regarding the arrest of terrorists involved in Jinnah House and May 9 incident.
Lahore Police has claimed to have arrested 14 terrorists trying to escape from Zaman Park last night.
Out of the arrested terrorists, 4 are involved in the attack on Askari Tower and 2 are involved in the Corps Commander House attack.
Besides, the caretaker government’s ultimatum to Zaman Park has expired. Negotiations between the government and PTI will be held today to arrest those involved in the May 9 incidents.
The government team headed by Commissioner Lahore will reach Zaman Park today and will hold talks with PTI representatives on the search operation.
If agreed, 400 police personnel are likely to be part of the search.
All roads leading to Zaman Park are still closed by the police and there is a heavy presence.
