Former Test cricketer Qasim Umar has said that Imran Khan used to speak rudely and abusively to the players of the team.
Talking to Geo News, Qasim Umar said that because of Imran Khan, he was forbidden to visit India in 1987.
He said that every player has a desire to play and perform against India, who was banned from India for the series because of then captain Imran Khan.
The former Test cricketer said that no captain of the world used to abuse anyone, the national team was getting an impression like someone’s father’s team.
He said that I had gone to my performance in the national team, Chief Selector Haseeb Ahsan told that if I had not made this statement, I would have become the captain later.

Qasim Umar said that General Zia-ul-Haq was banned for 7 years.
Talking about the current players, Qasim Umar said that the Pakistan team has the ability to surprise in any major event.
He said that playing three formats is not easy for any player, but he is surprised that a player like Fakhar Zaman is not included in the Test team.
