The fire in the building located in the nursery area on Karachi’s Shaara Faisal has been brought under control, after which the cooling process is going on.
The fire started on the roof which later engulfed the building.
According to fire brigade officials, all the people in the building have been safely evacuated, the cooling process may take some time.
A snorkel was called in to control the fire.
According to fire brigade officials, a snorkel and 3 fire tenders took part in the fire extinguishing operation.
In addition to snorkels, people were evacuated from the affected building using ladders.
A building adjacent to the affected building caught fire last month.
