An 8-year-old girl died when a mobile phone exploded near her face.
According to Indian media, the incident of mobile phone explosion happened in the state of Kerala, where an 8-year-old girl, a third grade student, was using a mobile phone at night, which suddenly exploded. As a result of the mobile explosion, the girl’s face was burnt.
Police officials say that the injured girl was immediately shifted to the hospital, but she succumbed to her injuries. The mobile phone was purchased three years ago and the battery was replaced last year. Further investigation into the accident is underway.
