Karachi: One month and 19 days after the seventh census, Karachi’s population has surpassed the country’s sixth census in 2017, while more than 60,000 households are yet to be counted.
According to the details, more than 1 crore 62 lakh people were counted in the city of Quaid, while today is the last day of the census. According to the details, 20 lakh 2 thousand 265 structures, 28 lakh 41 thousand 473 units and 1 crore 62 lakh 2 thousand 411 people were counted in Karachi till the evening of April 19, among them 85 lakh 31 thousand 167 men, 76 lakh 69 thousand 515 Includes women and 1729 eunuchs.
According to the details, the number of listed households is 30 lakh 15 thousand 270, while the number of houses that have been counted is 29 lakh 54 thousand 506.
In one day, 3 lakh 36 thousand 226 in the total population of Karachi, 1 lakh 84 thousand in the number of men, 1 lakh 51 thousand in the number of women, while the number of eunuchs has reached 1729 with an increase of 81. According to the 2017 census, the population of Karachi was 1 crore 60 lakh 51 thousand 521.
On the other hand, a population of 76 lakh 33 thousand 307 structures, 87 lakh 56 thousand 449 units and 5 crore 25 lakh 3 thousand 131 people have been counted across Sindh.
Hyderabad Division
19 lakh 24 thousand 989 structures, 2 million 49 thousand 590 units and 1 crore 16 lakh 43 thousand 268 population have been counted in Hyderabad division. Larkana Division has 1 million 16 thousand 364 structures, 1 million 51 thousand 883 units, 77 million 33 thousand 341 population. 8 lakh 15 thousand 766 structures, 8 lakh 38 thousand 801 units and 48 lakh 94 thousand 368 population in Mirpurkhas division, 9 lakh 47 thousand 951 structures, 1 million 1 thousand 619 units and 61 lakh 39 thousand 988 population in Sukkur division while Shaheed Benazar 9 lakh 26 thousand 378 structures, 9 lakh 73 thousand 83 units and 58 lakh 89 thousand 755 population have been counted in Abad division. ؟
The number of eunuchs in Sindh is 3125 out of which 1729 eunuchs are living in Karachi, 533 in Hyderabad Division, 283 in Larkana Division, 135 in Mirpur Khas Division, 236 in Sukkur Division and 209 eunuchs in Shaheed Benazirabad Division.
